How to easily join in the round and make an invisible join when crocheting

This time in the techniques series we are learning how to join in the round. This is a technique that is used when for example crocheting a raglan from top down or a sweater or cardigan with circular yoke. Check out this short video below and let’s learn something new!

This technique is great to get a straight seam when joining in the round. I know I struggled a lot in the beginning to keep my seams straight. They always seemed to go off in one direction and the stitch counts increased with every row.

It took me a while to figure out how to keep it straight and now I want to show you how you can do it as well! No more fear of joining in the round!

Happy Making!
