COFFEE & CROCHETING
Coffee & Crocheting is a Scandinavian knitwear company based in Helsinki focusing on timelessly designed fashionable crochet garments. Launched in 2019 by Emilia Johansson, designer and maker of the crocheted garments. Every garment is made with the love for the craft, fibres and art running through them. Every pattern is made by Emilia and 5-15 times by pattern testers to ensure high quality. With a precision to detail and simplicity, every pattern is perfected to be as easy as possible to follow and answer every question that might come up as you make it. It is a process that takes several months from early designing stage to a ready pattern.

Since launch Coffee & Crocheting have collaborated with several large yarn brands, including Yarn and Colors, Hobbii, Svarta Fåret, Sewrella Yarn and been featured as a guest designer on large crochet blogs like Make & Do Crew and Bella Coco Crochet. Designs has also been seen in publications like Moorit Magazine, Crochet Foundry Magazine and Taito. One of the main achievements in 2020 was the “Blog Personality of the Year” -award by lovecrafts.com.

Emilia is currently working on a crochet book to be released in autumn of 2024.

DESIGNER
Emilia is the maker, designer and owner behind Coffee & Crocheting. A 33-year-old Scandinavian designer who loves minimalism and simplicity but isn’t afraid to mix it up with colors and patterns. “ Designing lets me dream, grow and focus. I get to use and capture my experiences from my surroundings, travels, nature and everyday life and combine them into something beautiful. “

PHILOSOPHY
The goal is to design timeless pieces that will stay in your closet for a long time. The patterns are easy and beginner friendly but still motivating and fun for the more experienced crocheter. The patterns are tested several times to ensure the highest quality.
