The sweater is made top down with a circular yoke. That means minimal sewing!

This crochet pattern includes options for 3 different garments. You can choose to make it as a top, dress or add sleeves and make it a sweater. With shaping for the waist and hip, this is a feminine garment that will bring out your lovely curves. If you prefer a mor loose fit it is easy to skip the shaping. The pattern is very adjustable to make the perfect garment for your body.

It has different options for the closure: leave it loose in the front, tie it as a bowtie, with a v-neck fornt or close it in the neck with a button

It is worked from top down mainly in the round. You need 2 different hook sizes: one for the neckline and another for the body. Recommended sizes 4.0 mm (G-6) and 5.0 mm (H-8) or the one you meet gauge with.

SIZE
This pattern is written in six sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL and 2XL.
Bust width: 80 cm / 31.5” on XS up to 130 cm / 51.2” on 2XL. Shaping for waist and hips as according to own preferences.

YARN
DK / 8 ply / 11 wpi / 3 -weight yarn. The blouse in the picture is made using Novita Wool Cotton and the dress in Lion Brand Touch of Merino.

The Palm Breeze Sweater is worked in two body pieces (or one body piece in the round) and two sleeves. The shoulders and sleeves are slip stitched together meaning that sewing is only required for the sides of the body pieces (no need if made in the round) and for attaching the sleeves to the body.

The pattern is easy to follow and it uses only simple stitches and repeats. The stitches used are chains, single crochet, half double crochet slip stitch through the back loop only and slip stitch. It includes techniques like increases. These are explained in the pattern how to make and the pattern includes a link to my YouTube videos guiding you through some of the stitches used.

Your own measurements should be smaller. Measure yourself using a measuring tape to decide which size to crochet. You can also measure a similar garment you own that fits well to decide on size.
